for after im done sanding them?
yeah, start sanding with 600,the mags are dirty and the clear is peeling,if to hard, start wth 400,then 600 and then 1ooo it will be so smooth it will shine real quick, with tripoli it needs heat, but keep moving around or you will groove ,change direction,/,\,=,! the ore you cross the finer the finsh, the glossier it gets.chrome is polished in 3 stages to get the shine, use a polyurethane clear when finished.

Changing colour is an expensive process....When I was 18 I had a light blue TC Cortina 2Litre GT (english assembled) in NZ back in 1981 which I wanted painted in Candy Apple Red (The colour of choice for those cars back then)....The light blue was similar to the current Ford colour Bionic
which back then was demed to be bloody ugly. (How times change)

After being quoted NZ $2,000 in those days which was a f**k of lot of money, considering the car only cost me $3,500, I just traded it for one that colour for an extra $500....I recommend you do the same if you can...Find one in the colour you like, buy it and sell yours ...you'll do a lot better IMO....Changing colour required painting insie boots, bonnet, door frames etc ....unless you're a spraypainter of course in which case you can save a packet

Yeah i know its not a cheap process , i was looking around for another "cheap eb-ed fairmont" but i cannot find 1 , i was hoping id find another 1 with a blown motor or something but i had no luck, i know a spray painter who will do my car for 1500 im going to strip out the interior etc and do it properly.

Keep working it with autosol, the more polishing the better will come up, then spray with a clear gloss to seal it.

use autosole and it will come up 1000% better

Im a fan of the 5 spoke 15inch EB xr/GT rims i like them better than the nice speedy 15inch longchamps i have now.

the turbo blades look good on a XF
