Sounds good, I'm going to give that a go on my EF.. as the_scotsman said, do you have to wax after using it? You said after 6 months right?

Dunno how it took you 3 hours to do your car.
took me under 2 hours to do the entire Territory ... and that thing is a big bastard. Then going over it with NXT Gen wax and then Cab wax took some time ... but after it ... damn it was blinding in sunlight (seeing as it is Winter White as well)

Definitely need to at least wax is straight away to seal the paintwork ... as the clay system takes literally the top layer off protection off the clear.
NXT Gen Tech Wax and then the Cab wax should bring it up nicely.

hmm.... sounds the go...but I've NEVER been one to polish AND wax...looks like I might have to start!

think of polish as an 'improver' (brings up the paint nicely), and wax as the 'protectant' (helps with preventing 'crap' form sticking to the paint).

yeah, i used the clay too, it really is good s**t isnt it. Took a whole day to wash it, clay, scratch X, wax then detail interior.
My poor car needs it again so badly!! lol |

Yea, I guessed thats how it worked...just could never be that a*** to do it...but if the clay does a good job then yea, Ill make the effort!

yeah, it's a lot of effort but it's not a weekly or even monthly thing, so it's not bad. I only do it before shows (so once maybe twice a year), and the clay only if it needs it, otherwise it's just polish and lots of wax. mmm shiny.

The territory is nowhere near as old and your paintwork would have been in much better condition than mine to begin with. |

Just in the process now of applying polish and sealant to the paint after the clay treatment. I decided to use Klasse all in one followed by Klasse acrylic sealant glaze. I used the Klasse because of it's reputation overseas and it's durability and superior shine. It's very hard find Klasse products but I eventually found some at WWW.waxwizard.com.au located in Appin NSW.

I just bought some of this too and man it makes a difference. I tried it on a quarter panel of my echo and was an amazing difference, Now to attack the falcon.....there goes my day off. lol

Clay is killer hey
Feel the paint with your hand, if you can hear anything from the paint, then it's time to clay Paint should be silent when you slide your hand across All clay removes wax and sealants though the ultra fine clay I have is the finest in the world and is great for regular use or use on show cars as it will not dull the paint as fine grade can and medium grade bars does Takes me 45 mins to one hour to clay a car (don't forget windows, wheels, exterior trim and tail lights You can do it in 15 mins if you wash the car, re soak in shampoo then clay whole car, rinse off and dry it with a drying towel, water blade or chamois

yeah i bought some while down at the AFD in sydney the other weekend, on fri night while ahving a few brews, got stuck into claying a panel on the car, just to see how it goes, and it is f**k awesome!!!
I think i may be taking some sickies this week so i can give it a good clean. good to know you can use it on windows and lights though, wouldnt have thought you could have.
