so i had a old EF/EL fuel cap popper and got this idea about an electric puller for the bonnet. All that I need to do now is the wiring for it but i'll do that in the next few days. I've got the cable mounted up pretty dodgy at the moment(Zippy Ties) and the Electric unit is just bolted to the bumper. I'll post up a few pics soon on what i've done. Hopefully it will work well

yea i do have bbm but it runs fine how it is, i need the ecu for the Tacho, Temp and Trip to work properly. i don't have a trip comp though. the tacho reads way out, limiter read at 4250rpm when it should say around 5400rpm. and it gets the temp from the ECU

pics are a bit s**t because i had to resize them. it may not look like it pulls enough but it does. it is only mounted to the bumper with one bolt and the wires are just tied up at the moment. i might even keep the original cable for it hooked up too.

i can open my bonnet anyway because i don't have the grill but i will still have the original manual cable. Or clutch start the car to charge the battery and if it goes flat anyway the central locking won't work
