i have a fairly dinted drivers side door, i bought a replacement one the other week but zero motorvation to swap it. i was wondering if you need to swap the door locks/actuators etc inside the door and how to do. also gettin the window out and my other one back in.

well it depends on what car you bought the door off for i.e. if its a futura the door will have the electric window but in one case if its the same door that matches your car model you should just undo the 2 bolts so you can lift the door off using a 10mm Socket Spanner and unplugging the loom

nah its not electric, i just want to know how to put all the insides in. i.e new window, locks and all of that. it didnt come with a door trim.

arhh sorry you asked it like you wanted to know

well if you know how to take off the door trim the screws around it remove them all then you will wind the window all the way up so you will see 2 bolts that are 10mm you will need to people for this one to hold the window and the other to unbolt it once you have undone the 2 bolts make sure your mate has a firm grip on the window then start to wind it down then you pull the window out by pushing it down while holding it then turning the window on it side then you pull it out with out cracking it

and also cant work out why someone would take out the door lock actuator
