Dont know much about paintwork so heres the problem my bonnet is scratched n the paint looks like a matt finish compared to the quarter panels, i want something that will take out the scratches n bring it back up to a glossy finish.

u can sand out scratches using sum 2000 wet sand paper on a rubbing block ( u cant do this if the scratchers are too deep), and then buff it to bring back the shine.

Don't go crazy with wet & dry on a metallic paint. Once you rub through the clear coat the paint will be destroyed.

To bring the shine back have it cut & polished by a detailer or panel shop.

Get damian from final inspection to come out and do a machine paint level, polish and enhance with menzerna intensive polish PO85RD or PO91L and then Final Polish PO106FF or PO85RD 3.01 with edge yellow or green and then blue pads and you will have a finish that is better than new and extremely wet looking with zero scratches

It may need powergloss or optimum hyper with edge black foam or edge lambswool pad but in most cases those above will fix the problem and leave the finish markless, very wet, deep and glossy ready for sealing

finalinspection.com.au
