can be done. you would need the bonnet, lights, bumper at least. might work out easier to buy a fairmont, you can get em for under 2 grand these days

Plus the hood latch and deflector panel, thats about it. Could grab the dual tone horns while your there. The lights and the Grill are the expensive bits.

Pic's in my gallery (it just looks like a normal fairmont), car started life as a EF Gli - did the conversion about 4 years ago, excluding paint it only took about 3 hours to swap all the bits over.

EF/EL Fairmont/Fairlane fronts looks so classy!.. thought this conversion would of been more popular than what it is currently..

You need exactly what was listed above:

Bonnet
Head lights
Fairmont bonnet catch
Plastic deflector - (black plastic panel that goes on the radiator support panel)
Bumper. - You really only need the bumper skin as all the internal bumper frame and mounts are the same as a falcon but you may have to move the mounts up or down can't remember.

All EF & EL shape Fairmonts, Fairlanes and LTD's have the same bumper, bonnet and headlights the only thing that changes is the grille and plastic inserts in the bumper depending on the model, (but they are all inter-changeable).

If you get the bonnet off an EL make sure you don't cut the hose for the washer bottle to short. EF's have a joiner in the hose so you can take the bonnet off easily but EL's don't have the little joiner.
