Ok I have an EF XR8 that has a reasonable crack in the front bar right at the bottom in the centre. Now I have a couple of questions.

1. Is the Bumper separate to the nose cone (headlight surround)?

2. Is it the same as a standardish el or ef bumper?

3. How exactley is it held on?

I just want to replace it to look standard, Not willing to upgrade to a Venom or so forth as I want to keep it low key/factory as possible.

i had mine repaired - it had begun to separate along the bar/headlight section. this was done at my local plastic repair shop.

so to answer 1 - no it is not separate

2 - lower section of the bar is same as gli/futura

3 - look at the xr conversion tech doco as to how to remove the bar

the top half can be seperated from the larger lower half. Its glued and, in some parts along the join, is melted together.
