Can someone recommend me a Paint & Panel shop here in SA that does excellent work?

What Im looking for is a place that can do the following:

* Color match to near perfection
* Takes care in their work
* Dont take short-cuts
* Provides excellent service
* Able to stick to deadlines
* Uses quality paints like PPG, Dupont etc.
* Is able to give updates with a persons project

To let you know what I have experienced, I have been to a few places who are very happy to take down ya details, spend time on working out what needs to be done, but never get back to you with a quote they promised weeks ago.
I've also experienced places who do shoddy color matching, and all they do is get the paint code, mix the paint and dont check it against the car, and you end up with what looks like 1-2 shades of color difference.
I've seen ordinary panel alignments too. As if the car was put back together on a Friday afternoon by the apprentice who wants to go home early.

I dont expect perfection, but I do expect a place to do their job properly.

I am prepared to pay for excellence. But I need to be confident that I will get what Im paying for.

Is there anyone here who has had paint work done recently that they can highly recommend in SA?

Hey, try Hove paint and panel, Brighton road. Hove. Steve the owner did my EF XR8 and matched it perfectly. He have also done some of my mates cars and they came up a treat. Great prices.

I had my bumper pranged about 2 years ago on my BA XR6. It was scratched all the way down the left side, plus bent slightly out of shape and knocked out of its socket.

Most places wanted close to $1,000 to have it resprayed and bumped back into shape, but I took it to Pro Paint & Panel at 49 South Rd, Hindmarsh and they did it all for $350 or so. To this day, it's an impeccable job. Definitely give them a try. Number is (08) 8340 0542.
