Is it just the 4 bolts under the rubber gromits and the screws holding the mudflaps and black plastic wheel arch lining to remove it?

there's also a little bracket under the bumper, for me its where the tow pack is... maybe its just on mine..? but yeah, those, and then slide off...

mines got the tow pack too. So i take it i gotta pop me head round underneath and behind the bar to see this one. I'll keep it in mind, cheers! |

Cheers any more details on this bracket? I can't find! I've got everything I can find off and the bloody thing won't come off! I've got the six screws from inside the wheel arch, the four top bolts, and the two brackets either side on the bottom (are these the ones your talking about?). I can't see of get to anything in the middle of the bar because of the tow bar (genuine Ford one.). |

it's so s**t me off now, i've uncliped the side peices, and the top and bottom of the bar seem to be loose, but there seems to be something holding it on in the middle, were i can't see of get to, and there's no way i'm even gunna consider removing the tow bar - besides it looks like the rear bar needs to be removed in order to remove the tow bar!!!

you don't have to remove the tow pack. Its werid.. should come off now. I remember the top 4 bolts, at the bottom theres 2 brackets around the tow pack, the screws in the wheel arches, and then the side mounting thingies.
Maybe needs a bit of convincing?

well, with the main things off, you are not likely to brake the bumper, rather some insignificant mounting bracket which a normal person wouldn't even do back up. So you are unlikely to damage the bumper. In saying that, mine came off pretty easy. Try it pulling up and down.. maybe it's the angle?

Whats your rear skirt look like? I wouldnt mind getting one for my wagon just dont recall ever seeing one on a car

actually SSV also make a wagon kit, but it's a lot more expensive and a lot less noticable (i did like it though and it made the car look very clean), but value for money it had none, so I've got a tickford kit look a like for the wagon now!
just gotta cut the towbar hole in the rear skirt and paint em up and it'll go back on. hopefully by the end of this week... |
