Anyone know how to get the paint removed off my wheels? They're Simmons FR18 - currently painted in grey, but I'm wanting a polished silver finish.

According to Simmons, they're painted by "Powder coat primer, 2 pack colour coat, 2 pack clear coat." (http://www.simmonswheel.com.au/tech/)

I've been told that I need to be careful as to not damaged the surface of the cast aluminium alloy.

Paint stripper and light scraping is the 'go', ive stripped and polished a few alloy wheels without a problem.

To polish them you'll have to sand with different grades and then go over with autsol.

Ive always thought FR's would look awsesome fully polished so post a pic when theyre done :)
