Hey all, I've done a search but cant seem to find a topic on this.

So my problem is this, I have a couple of FG XR6's, one with 17's the other with 18's and unfortunatly I have some unpleasant grind marks on a couple of the rims.

I have seen some youtube clips on sanding and polishing them out, but they all seem to be by some company or other flogging some product that usually included repainting of the rim.

My questions are, has anyone polished out or repaired thier own scuffed rims? Is it reasonably easy? Do you need paint or clear coat or any other product to seal the alloy once its sanded back?

Cheers in advance guys.
