I agree with what he is saying?

Tell me if im wrong here. But is there any reason for a Monster Tacho. That shows 12000rpm when your only reving to 5,250 rpm !! for arguments sake. teheheh.

Although It depends on the function. It can look cool if done properly.

each to their own i guess.

gauges are gay, end of story.
No, not end of story. The standard factory temp gauge in my ED actually cost me an engine. It wasnt the sender and it wasnt the wiring. I holed a radiator while working the car hard through kangaroo valley, south of Sydney and the s**t standard temp gauge was oblivious to what was going on, just sat where it always sat at operating temp, meanwhile all my pistons were making love to the cylinder block in a very heated exchange. Since installing the Autometer temp gauge, I had a similar problem (bottom radiator hose). As soon as it started to heat up the HIGHLY ACCUARATE after market gauge let me know and probably saved me more heart ache. But maybe I'm just a gay ricer after all.
eexactly same thging happend to my previous 134rwkw i6... bloody stock engine temp guage... cost me the engine... :?

yeh ytmont, where do u get off telling people that guages are gay? im sure plenty of people could pick out things u have done 2 ur car and say "there gay"... u mod ur car the way u bloody want to and leave others to do THEIR cars the way they want it.. if u havnt got anything constructive to say go post somewhere else

look my original post said gauges on an NA car are gay. By that I meant a stock car.
I understand they are useful, i understand you need to monitor things when you are running a serious setup that's all cool.
That said, rarely people match their gauges with their interior and they look stupid, and i think they look out of place outside the car.
My engine was stock when it f**k up.
