I'm wondering what is the best way to remove the strip without damage to either strip or paint ? any ideas welcome.

Yer just go along wit da hair dryer, slowly pull it off,then give it a lick wit prep wash to get n e of de old glue, andgive it a cut n polish

whats prep wash? What is the best stuff 2 use to get the glue off?

prepsol gets the glue off apparently. i gotta go buy some to get the glue off mine.

also one side of my car must have been in a crash and when they put the new mould on they used what i assume is urethane how would i get this off????

Metho, Sol Prep or Eculupytas oil works best I found.

General purpose thinners will get urethane off. Surprisingly it wont damage 2 pac paint. Give it a good polish afterwards.
