hey does anyone know how to remove the side strips from the side of the car i want to paint them so i dont want to ruin them

what model car??

the e series ones are held on with double sided tape, just peel them off carefully...

old EA ones should just come off with a bit of compressed air :lol:

Thats one of the main reasons i bought a futura... for the body couloured mouldings lol. Im not sure how you would go about getting them off, they are stuck pretty good.

On my EL i removed them by using a very small and blunt knife and a heat gun. It only took about 5mins to remove all 4. But removing the double sided tape off the strips took a while using a razorblade.

I painted them white the same colour as the car, but personal now i think they look crap. I'm considering getting paint stripper and taking it all off and then put them back on.
