im still deciding whether to take the black strip that goes round the car off and paint it red like the xr's. i reckon gun metal and red are a nice combination.

some other oppinions requested!!

if i was to do it, should i just go buy it from a wrecker or spray it myself?

thanks ya

I personally dont think i would like the red with gun metal, I thought the black would look better.

and if you go with a wreckers for the red strip it will probobly be faded 2.

Maybe you could paint the stip a different colour all together and run a pearl through it or something. Dark blue/black pearl.....??

mmmm that sounds interesting... i seen the irradescent paint in a spray can at s**t, maybe a coat or 2 of that in silver/black might look alright?

and now i think of it, most strips from a wrecker will be f**k anyway cos the car's been in a accident (and the strip will be the first thing to come in contact with the other car/pole etc) lol ah well
