Alot of confusion has been going on here lately about which style needs which indicators. Allow me to clear this up.

Starting with a EF/EL GLi/Futura/XR and EF Fairmont ONLY

You can use a product by a member called ratman to get a result like this. You do not need to change your moulds for this effect, as you use your current/factory low series mouldings.

NF/NL indicators will fit, however will NOT sit flush and will NOT look pretty with the car.

Another option is to upgrade your mouldings to NF/NL Fairlane, DF/DL LTD or EL Fairmont high series mouldings and use Fairlane indictors which will sit directly and flush into the mouldings.

Changing the indicators is accessible through the wheel arch and is a simple job.

I did this mod to my EF Futura. I put NF side moulds on the entire car with NF indicators and it made the world of difference. I recommend doing it this way as it gives hte car a more professional appearence. My seocnd recommendation would be to use ratman's fantastic product and not change your moulds at all.

Hopefully this will clearn up any confusion.

you have to buy amber globes after you buy the repeaters from this site.
if you buy from ratman he will suply them with the clear repeaters.

ok, amber repeaters have a clear globe because the repeater is amber.
if you ahve a clear globe with a clear repeater its not going to flash amber.
if you have the amber globe and clear repeater you will get an amber flash but your repeater is clear which makes the car look better

in other words atm your car has clear globes with amber repeaters.

You can use your existing clear globes for the NF/NL repeaters, as they have an orange capsule inside.

For Ratman's units, replace the grey base with a factory item - for Streetlens, also fit the factory base.

Below shows a modded unit, Ratman's std item with grey base, and the factory chrome/orange base.
