well seeing as i had to stop my window from falling out whilst replacing my regulator, i taped it to the door frame. now i cant seem to get the glue/residue stuff off. ive tried warm water and detergents but it still hasnt completly come off. anything else i need to try?

use prepsol and then clean it with windex

any one of these is good for removing glue left from tape or stickers.

Prepsol
Metho
Lemon essence
thinners (be careful)
eucalyptus oil.
Tee tree oil
Alcohol.
turps

man, tea tree oil is good for everything. Laundry, cleaning, when you're sick.....

use a razor balde too. just use a good angle to stop the glass getting scratched

Yes, must use ammonia free cleaners on tint. I use armoral window cleaner.

Geezuz guys, you dont shop often do ya's.
Found a wicked product for getting that glue residue off, paintwork, glass, pretty much anything. Its called Oomph (or something like that), works absolutely everytime. Really really good product, was gonna post it up but forgot so heres my chance to spread the word. Not that expensive either, and removes it within 2 minutes. Spray on wipe off.

f**k going shopping if you can find something the wifes already bought. I got better thing to spend my money on than cleaning products. :wink:
