Hi Guys,

would you say the tyre in the attached picture is still good condition? According to the tread wear indicators, it seems ok. But what about the part circled in red? Are they also TWI's? Usually they are lower than the rest of the tread but now they are at the same height

That appears to be legal, but only just. TWI's are in the middle of the tyre.

you can see the TWI's further back, they're fine.

thanks for the replies guys. I wasn't sure if the twi's were just the middle ones. I thought the ones on the sides like the area marked in red were secondary twi's.

They look ok.
But the wear indicators are in the middle.
The minimum tread deapth is 1.5mm ANYWHERE on the tyre, not just on the TDIs
So on the outter edges between the pattern if its say 1.6mm or less don't expect to get passed for a road worthy.
