i think the kumhos would be a k11, the k11s are a excellent tyre, grip well, hardly no world noise, and do last a while even under harsh driving, i got them on my ED

my choice would be Nankang NS-II, after having had them and compared them to Kumho Ecsta and Dunlop SP3000A's

I've used Dunlop SP3000's, Kumho Ectsas, Maxxis MAV1, Bridgestone Potenzas, Toyo TPG's and now Toyo Proxes 4 on the back of my XR6T. I definately like the Toyos the best, the TPG has just been replaced by the Proxes 4 and it seems just as good. As a bonus they're not expensive either in 235/45/17 either :D

like everyone else, I too want a bargain, but Bowsaw says it best when he says.... "get what you pay for"

I pay $325 a tyre for my 18's they are the dunlop 9000's (fitted to SS and XR) these tyres I will swear by!!! They hurt me a little more in the back pocket (they're actually worth roughly $450 :) ), but they stop great, don't wear fast, and work well in the wet and the dry. I know you're all wanting 19's, so you 'should' be paying more than me, but some of you get s**t cheap... others get bent over with cheapies.

Remember, it's the only thing between you and the road stopping you, can be the difference between a corrected slide, or a pole... Please be wise in buying what you will, you don't spend a tonne of cash on your car, then spend sweet FA on your tyres, and if you do, its because you got quality tyres cheap! Not cheap quality tyres...

Yep, the price of living in a small country town, and one shop that deals in 18s and above, and only have one set in stock, when you need them.

I have that "clear brand" on my 19's. And you are right, they are s**t. It rained the other day, and i came round a corner after stopping at the lights, and accelerated slghtly and the a** went straight out. The only reason i bought cheap ones was because im probably going to race with them at drag day, but straight after its much better rear tyres for me!
