hey fordmodders..
just wondering what people think of the BA XR8's
iv been considering selling my el and buying a XR8 preferably orange..
things i would do would be remove the wing, put on a set of clear tail lights, lower suspension, 19inch wheels, extractors and twin system...
if you have an XR8 and have modded it could you please post some pics..
thanks guy...

Go and test drive a few and see what you think. Don't put clear tail lights in one though, BA's with clear taillights look retarded.

(make that any car, not just BA's)

They're nice cars if you like that sort of styling. They drive well but they dont stand out all that well.(so many of em on the road).

Get a few quotes for insurance first it. You'll find it hard to have anyone insure you for under $1800 a year ( and thats being generous)

If you could find someone to insure him in a BA XR8 for $1800 full comp then you deserve a medal! No one would touch it.. only just car and they'd charge probably over $2500/year.. and they don't have pay by the month either.

once you mention it's got any mods done to it most places wont cover you, so you'll end up having to insure it with just cars and places like that.

dont go put those s**t clear lights on them, they look tacky and cheap. they dont suit any car they're fitted to, even the lexus they came out on!
