I went to super cheap, and repco, and they don't sell my colour! its really frustrating, and all the stone chips are getting out of control... soon Ill have a bare metal car...

So is there any other places where I can get paint from?

I also want to paint the grey bits on my bumpers, and the body mould, and the tailgate, so I guess a little touch up tin won't do...

Cheers

Have you got a decent air compressor, paint gun, face mask, and I gather it would be acrlyic as 2 pac is not something you would spray around a suburban block with neighbours & the EPA. Large fines :x

Anyone know of an "Auto 1" in melb?
Ive tried to get some paint for my fbt and nobody knows which one it is!
There are 3 different Regency Reds they tell me, basic, metalic, pearl.
Anyone know if the paint code will say which regency red it is as i was under the impression it just meant regency, fullstop.
Ill never get my engine cover sprayed the way im going!

Daniel mate, auto 1 is referring too "carbitz auto one" there is one located on blackburn road just near syndal railway station (near intersection of high street and blackburn) they mix up paint there. But if you you want specialist advice and no s**t, go to eastern auto paints in bayswater as all they do is automotive paint.

OK? as in not that good?

I guess Ill just go to a panel beater see what they can do..

But $25 for a small can, isn't that a bit too much? I mean the ones that are already available like Everglade or whatever it is green is ALMOST identical, but you can get it from any shop, for alot cheaper than $25.... oh well, I can't do much more than b**ch.

Cheers

Mitre 10 do a pretty good job at mixing paint. That is till I got a numnut one day and completely f#^&ed it up.

I use a local paint place now. Found it to be much cheaper than the bigger retailers, better quality equipment and help.

You don't realize that there is actually better paint and equipment out there till you have to do it yourself.
