The headlights on my EA Fairmont Ghia look white (whiteish) when viewed head on, but photographed yellow and at an angle look yellow.

SO ........

What headlight and spot light bulbs are people using that shine, show, and photograph white, also give as much light as standard bulbs.

blue ones !
blue bulbs light up white
as long as they arent too blue.
go to your local auto parts place and get some bulbs, and just talk to the rep person.
they will be able to help you out.

Whats the best auto store to get them from, and what price can I expect, I need them for the spot lights, high beam, and normal beam.

The blue bulbs are terrible as this wavelength of light tends to disperse especially in the rain - you can't see s**t!! The human eye is concentrated on the yellow end of the spectrum so just get use to it.. Only HID will produce a better light. The Narva 50+ globes are whiter than the normal ones as they use a different gas.. Anything more expensive is just a waste IMO and not necessarily that much better.

The key factor is to make sure you are getting 12v at the globe terminals. 8-)

I use Hella Work Range bulbs in my ef fairmont for better visability on the road. they are not legal for road use but who is gonna know. a lot of blue bulbs that you buy specialy the cheaper ones appear to be brighter but when you look into them but dont shine for s**t on the road, where u need them most.

actually you want as close to charging voltage as possible, ie. 13.5+ volts, as when you turn your lights on, then start your car, the light increases that marginal bit.
