yep i sprayed my valiant wagon....was the wrond time to paint it but...needed to be a bit hotter.....ill give you one word of advice...preperation makes the paint...if you can feel something with your hand, even the slightest bump, dont think for a second that the paint will hide it..itll just make it stand out more...Image

yeh i know wat veeate exactly means. i did my Holden Hq last year & even tho i sanded for days literally & looked straight as, I ended up with a couple small ripples here & there which i didnt notice till the paint went on!

Wasn't happy, but then again im not a painter...

Advice is if u really want to do it urself, make sure u read all about it and feel confident and have a s**t of patients. Prep is the most important thing, & then when the time comes uKnow exactly what primer, paint, mix ratio to use along with all the proper gear with a compressor that can keep up, decent sprayguy, water separator etc.

The atmosphere too shudn't be too warm or breezy. a garage would be ideal but not everyone has one or does without space in it!
I did mine out the back out of direct sunlight.....

Tell you what tho not sure I'd do it again. My bro wants me to help him with this ap5 valiant of his but i'm scared of spoiling such a nice car :P
