Yopu also need a heap of giue under the leading edge,and a lot of weight to press it onto the lid while it is drying.

I used double sided tape on the edges, just like ford did, tis holding up well.

ok so just drill right size holes and use nuts and bolts

Yeah, but also either glue or use double sided tape on the edges, or it won't seal, and s**t will get under it.
