If you only sanded it with 1200 then its going to take a lot more work to get them shiny. The finer the paper the less polishing you will need to do.

You should be able to find 1800 or 2000 paper in auto paint shops, Supercheap, repco, auto bahn etc.

Finish it off with plexus it is specifically for plastic.

Yep mate, lol.

Just to confirm. After I had sanded (w/water) with the three grades of sand paper, I was cool to just rinse off the milky crap left behind right? I did that, tried the light, applied my turtlewax, let it dry, then I buffed it out.

Now my original, untouched headlights looks quite good, and the one I tried to make better looks F**k worse! lol.

hmm interesting. i would of thought 1200 would of turned out reasonable. probably take a fair amount of work as said above though. maybe the scratches arent all out.
im sure the 2000 grit should take care of it though.

Can anyone tell me where they have managed to find plexus, i have asked around a few auto stores and none of them have every heard of it and after 6 months the lights are yellowing again so gotta do them again. wanna get this plexus s**t
