What's the bass/sound quality like with the parcel shelf sub.
I need my boot space, so a boxed sub is out of the question. Just wanted to see if they're worth it???

Get a standard surround, get some saws and saw blades and start hacking, that's what I did. Hasn't come out too bad. Yet to fit it though out of lazyness lol. Probably will need to get a file and increase is a bit as I think it's not quiet big enough yet.

tried to do something like that with my alpine gear, and joinign two single trim surrounds together isnt quite tall enuf to give the screen clearance to slide out - it could be different with JVC gear tho..

i heard of a mob that can make a laser trim.. but cant remember thier name - all i know is it costs a fair bit...

*gets back in box*

I guess I never thought they would still be available. How long ago did you pick yours up? How much?
