You cant legally remove safety devices from vehicles. This includes air bags, seatbelts, and other restraints. Unfortunately your only option is a higher spec wheel from ford!

theres a few au's floating around with aftermarket wheels. that orange on with the polished fr19 simmons that was at the holden ford show and in street fords last month has one so there must be some way of doing it. maybe u can use the same boss kit as u would for an ef.

No Querty - leave the airbag in there!! It is designed for your protection in the event of an auto accident.

Your insurance company will not like it as well - if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it.

Spend your hard earned money on something else more practical - have you got window tint? Or some seat covers and a car cleaning kit with Peter Brock on it.

get an AU LTD wheel or somthing. I hate those aftermarket wheels, they look cheap and don't suit the interior of a daily driver any way. Get a factory wheel so you keep your airbag, keep your cruise, insurance will be happy and look good at the same time

mwahahaha... the beauty, or lack thereof, of having a car with no airbags :P

but really, just upgrade to a higher spec one, it keeps it looking stock, but you keep the safety aspects.

i changed mine cause im a knob :)

There are a few aftermarket ones on ebay that suit AU with airbag (ie. keep the airbag), they look similar to that one (obviously different center due to air bag.)
