Ride: au II ute, 63' xl falcon ute

ive got an au II with the base model cluster (tacho, speedo, temp and fuel) and im curious if i can get a fairmont? (oil, volts tacho speedo temp and fuel) cluster and just plug/screw it in and away i go with no problems?

and, does it matter if the cluster is from a series I? or does it have to be from a series II/III due to smartsheild?

It has to be a Series 2/3 cluster.
