i just aquired a new car yesterday and the globes in the climate control are not lighting up. i pulled it out but it looks like the clips are glued in and i cant change the globes?? please help me to work out how to get to them.

Unfortunately with those globes you have to buy them complete with the socket as they're moulded together during manufacture.
Don't quote me on this but i think you can only get them from ford and they're like 4.50 each again don't quote me as i could be wrong here my cousin has a vt calais and when we replaced the globes in his climate control we had to get them from holden as they're the same deal. Also you can try and convert to led's you can get em cheap on ebay. Use the led sticky in this forum has alot of good info on led's for dash globes. |

YEH I SELL GLOBES ON EBAY MYSELF HA HA, I AM A PRO AT PUTTING THEM IN BUT THE NEW AU CLIMATE CONTROL WITH THE TRIP COMPUTER AND THE CLOCK IS THE PROBLEM. I CANT GET IT OPEN TO REPLACE THE GLOBES. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO OPEN UP THE UNIT ONCE ITS OUT TO GET THE GLOBES OUT??

Is it definitely the globes and not the lcd?

well i dont know cos i cant get it open to see?? were they glued together?? my ef one wasnt but his one seems to be. the buttons are lighting up blue with my leds but i cant open the casing. do i need to to change the globes??

problem fixed i finally got it apart and replaced the globes. some d**k had glued it together b4 me
