Hi all ... can someone tell me How much modification to fit AU seats into an ED ?
Ive read that you may even be able to just unbolt all the foam padding from both seat frames and swap them over for an easier conversion ??
any ideas?
Cheers.

Most remove the actual mounts from the rails and swap them over. Some ford seats have them welded and riveted some just riveted. The rail assembly should unbolt from the chair itself then you go nuts with the grinder, drill & welder.

I've got xr seats in my hilux so retrofitting to a ford should be easier

I have been told that BA seats are an easier fit..(direct fit with only a spacer needed on one of the feet mounts) I know of some from a ute... are they the same as a sedan seat ?? ie: the rails
