will an au steering wheel and air bag go straight into an ef?

an AU airbag wont, especially if you have cruise control.

The steering wheel is a straight swap. You will need to keep your EF airbag/cruise control switches.

I have done the whole conversion... only because am a lazy f**k who wanted the steering wheel mounted audio controls. Worth it 8-)

To fit the AU airbag, you will need the AU airbag, clock spring, audio/cruise switches and combination switch. wiring mods are needed for the cruise control to work.
