i hate the front of the AU Fairmont - I like the inside to be of the Fairmont and the front to be that of either the XR6 or XR8 - how easy to remove and replace?

sounds exectly like my old bus. Easy to do, make sure you get the wiring loom for the twin headlights while your at it. It is a direct bolt on, but there is one fixing you will not have- its the threaded bolt for the bar tab inside the top of the guard, you can make something up-or just adjust your guards to it.

The XR has its own grille incorporated into the bar. i have seen the fairmont grille used instead. Means cutting out the XR grille and attaching the fairmont grille. A low series bonnet would solve all your problems.
