I have an AUII forte with front power windows which have always been sluggish in going up an down. I have never been a fan off power windows so im trying to research if i can convert them to manual. I know the first AU forte's have front manual windows just wondering if all that door trim an window winder will go into my AUII. Or if anyone else has any ideas how to go about it.

I don't think the door design changed between series 1 and 2. I think it's pretty safe to assume the manual and power mechanism are interchangeable and mount up the same way like the rear ones do.

I also think it's very likely the door cards with series 1 manual windows and series 2 with power are a straight swap too.
I'm not sure if AU utes had manual windows until series 2 or something? They might of had manual windows for longer than the sedans did...

Edit:
Have you tried lubrication on your power windows?
