I have an AU2 XL and want to stick in the AU2 XR dash I have. Is there any wiring to change in the plugs like the AU1's. I have an oil pressure sender so thats bits covered. Any help or direction to a sticky would help.

I wouls ay there would be as the part numbers ARE different.
To find out for sure, you could ask one of the members here, Ash,
as he has played with a few of these.

Yes I believe he did alot of swearing when trying aswell lol being the same series might have less dramas though. I have an xr series II ute if you want to compare part numbers but papa smurf has confirmed it already....

I don't think it's as plug and play as you would like.

Also just to elaborate are you talking about the whole dash or just the cluster ?

Just the cluster. Update the poverty pack cluster to the XR cluster. The XR cluster is from the same month build as the ute.

if it's only the cluster just change it and see what happens. I tried that with my ea because a mate had the same car and it worked (lo to hi spec cluster) but didn't work in mine :x who knows what day of the week your car was built ? Seems to hard to tell.
It will either work or it won't, then you find what doesn't work should only be the hi spec extras then you can wire them up.
Hardest part is getting the fekin thing out of there. Would have to be my biggest hate with the au.
