it ahppens from time to time, simple fix

gunna sound odd but hang with me....

-do the bolt under the handle up a bit more.
-handle should be come loose.
-turn handle a little left of where you want it.
-now try to "undoo" the bolt, this will tioghten it up against the handle.
-when tight, turn the handle to traight on (from the leftish angle it was on)you should need some force to do this.

hope that helps

Set the handle slightly clockwise from where you want it, tighten the nut with a flat spanner by rotating it anti clockwise until it locks up on the bottom of the shifter, and then turn a little bit more, which should bring the shifter back to where you want it

If it is just the stick then it is two bushes in the stick assembly. I got ford to replace them for me and it is like new now. Can't remember the names of them but the ford place should know. Probably easy to do yourself if you wanted to.

hahahaha sorry man, no offence or anything but s**t. There's a thumping great nut on the bottom of the shifter head/gear knob which should be obvious as to its purpose.

Maybe the beer is making me seem more of an a**hole than usual and if so, I apologize but f**k... I'm not the worlds greatest anything and that was like the first thing I did with my EF
