Can anyone please post the pin diagrams for the electric door switches on a BA Fairmont.
I am particularly wanting to connect the power to the light permanently as I have placed illuminated switches into a BA XT and they do not supply power to illuminate them.

Does the XT have 4 power windows? If not the chances are the loom isn't there. I put blue LED window switches into dads XR6 Turbo (4 power windows) and the wire was there for the lights.

No, the loom is not there to support illumination. You can jump power from the switch to the illumination pin, which means they will be illuminated all the time, which is fine by me.

All the time as I will need to use the constant power from the actual window switch to power the illumination.

Here is the wiring diag

Use your multimeter to find +12ve

Illumination is pin 19 - or LR Light red
