Hi all.
Just a basic one for ya. How hard is it to find a drivers side leather seat for a BA falcon? Is it best to look on eBay, take it to an auto upholsterer or go to the local ford dealer and see if they can source one. Tad confused. Cheers

The Genuine Ford one would cost the earth so, I would look on Ebay but, most people who have them will want to see the WHOLE set of seats.

Matey, I would try this bloke, he sells a whole front set of covers for $500.00, he would be a MUCH better option and, you at least would know it is NEW. :)

id say ebay. i scored a set of front and rear ba leather fairmont ghia seats, all four matching door trims, matching dash spears and the matching auto shifter for about $800. that was when i had my ba, which i sold in 2009 and bought my current car. prices and availability should have gotten better since then....

Lots of those eBay leather covers look rubbish after a little use. Save your coin and hunt down a good 2nd hand unit.

Thanks for the tips all. My seats are getting creaky and noisy which sounds like a BA trait. Thinking of just going to an auto trimmer ad see what they think? My existing seats are leather so hopefully fixable

If you take the seat out, you should notice a crack near the front mounting bolts. very common problem with the b series. easily fixed with a weld. This is where the creaking is probably coming from.
