very difficult to do. iirc the ba shifter internals pull the lever up, and the EF/EL ones push it down. EF/EL shifters screw on, BA shifters sit on and have a screw.
You really need to see the two to see how hard it'd be.

It was a BF shifter fitted to an EB, was the entire lower cover also which would be difficult in an EL as they are not rectangular. All the pins push down so its a start.

I put a BA shifter into my EA

I have recently upgraded that to a BF shifter

The shifter can fit any car and I have electronics to use with any 4 speed auto.

Any other questions :D

can the mod be done to an au s3?

if so how much do you charge to do the mod?
