combo switches are a known part to fail. basically the indicator stalk that the light switch is on, theres a wire in it thats to short and it snaps. do they come on when you indicate or anything?

i paid $50 to replace mine, and keep in mind that eventually you WILL loose your lights to, it's progressive in my experience. $50 was second hand though and this means that theres no garantee that it won't happen again real soon.
