In my 'mont, when the demister is on with the temp at liek 16deg, the aircon vents blast hot air.

Now the aircon doesn't work properly anyway, like it doesn't come out cold. Might need to regass it or something.. But I'll get to that later.

Could the gassless/busted aircon be why the air comes out cold(ish) while demisting and red hot out of the vents? Or is that just the way it is?

if thats just the way it is then can it be changed?

Id say either you blend door motor has shat itself. Do a system test.

Or the heater tap isnt working correctly. You would have to visually inspect that to see if its working properly.
