wasn't sure which forum so seeing as how its to do with the instrument cluster which is in the interior, this will have to do.

driving home today i noticed that my odometer has decided to stop. car is eb v8. is this repairable or not. the thing that bugs me is the km's. the car has a genuine 71000km's. any 2nd hand cluster i pick up for an eb will have at least double or even triple those km's which is going to lop $ off the value of the car instantly.

i think you can get the cluster reset to the original km's with a certificate from somewhere to say km's are authentic even if dash isn't. is this true??

if i do need to get another cluster i will try to get a genuine xr8 one which will just about complete the image (xr8 replica). current cluster does not have tacho. if i get a cluster that does will that automatically work or will it need some wires added?

obviously for the oil pressure guage to work i will need a new sendr unit as well.

will the ef/l dash bolt in or only eb/d.

thanks guys

very common, and very repairable.
you can even buy repair kits on eBay from time to time.

and I think you can buy the gear from ford still (the one that breaks)

to swap clusters read :-)
