well today i cracked my windscreen when i got the s**t putting the seat belts back in and chucked the torx bit at the window
 ,any way i got quoted $242 to put a new one in at my place just would like to know if this is a good price

for new under 300 is pretty good price, just replaced mine and got quoted 320 for new so got used for 200.... is that the best price you can find?

 yea thats not to bad.. we paid that for narelles mazda.. you can get them done cheaper but there usually by those no name habib windscreen fitters that use cheap sealant and dont use etch primer around the window frame and the windows dont seal properly..

well it end up costing $262 due to needing a new top rubber ,so i wont be throwing any tools around in the car from now on

I was told insurance companies pay up to $330, so this is often charged, and this is what i was charged (groan!) . . . and then the rearview mirror fell off.
I was also told the glass costs about $75 wholesale . . .
