Wondering if the EA-EB-ED-EF cruise control modules are exactly the same as those on the EL's?
My cruise control has stopped working but the light comes up on the dash.
I'm guessing it could be either the steering wheel switches or the module itself. Someone said that I should shech the plug on the side of the brake fliud reservoir for any moisture buildup - It was nice and clean. I also checked the brake light switch and it looks alright too.

Nope - EF and EL are the same, but not EA/B/D.

If the light comes on the dash, and thats all then either one of the two brake switches has failed (one on the Brake master, or the normal brake switch), or your Set+/Set- switches have failed (also very common).

Look in tech docs - I believe theres a diagnostics for cruise control in there (might be the article on installing cruise)

Plus there's been occasional threads on the same thing - last one I recall was from Vic.

I went out for a drive just before and the cruise control worked. I turned it off then tried it again but nothing. The switch in the brake pedal buggered perhaps?
