Anyone got a pic of the wiring inside these wheels? I got an XR wheel but the wiring looks way different to my ghia wheel..
If some one can take the cap off for a few pics would be great.

Thanks Steady but i think i need more detailed help, sorry.
Ill put a pic of what i got, but could u take a further shot of the pad and wheel wires and if u can seperate the looms more openly, thanks

Ive matched ur 1st pic, now the rest.
It seems as though ur horn circle has 2 x Male lugs, mine has 1 each

Nah it doesnt have two male lugs, one of the wires has got one of those female terminals with a male coming off it.
After cracking a beer and staring at my wiring for a bit, I think I got it, where are you at now? This steering wheel wiring spins me out as well. I remember when I put mine in now, I got a mate to do it for me

Im thinking this has to go with the yellow wires, just need to get it on there some how and that should be it..

yeah I think it has to to yellow wires as well, going off the diagram i drew myself on a bit of cardboard, they should have one of those double terminals on them I think.

I found a double male lug so now it all fits together
Now to install it and see if it works

Well, I'm really digging this one out of the grave.
I have been struggling with my wiring for ages, a total head f***. I've got mine wired up now like in the pics above Red and Brown on one lug, Yellow and Green with Yellow on the other, but I seem to have an extra green/yellow wire. The two G/Y wires that come out of the thumb horn pads go with the solid yellow wires on the horn button lug, but then I have an extra G/Y wire coming out and going no where. Is there meant to be an earth on the boss kit or something?

Cut that dag off...
If you earth that you'll have constant horn... So you have yellow wire (or yellow with green, whatever you want to call it)... Power goes into the horn relay coil, comes out of the horn relay coil into that yellow wire... Brown is hooked to earth... Blue goes to the input of the cruise module... If you check the yellow wire you will see 12V as long as you use a high impendance meter, not enough current flows to pull in the horn relay... If you short it to ground (brown) then it will pull in and the horn will go... Cruise on, joins yellow to blue (cruise module is high impedance so the relay doesn't pull in, it sees +12V... Cruise off is brown to blue... Cruise Set or Resume is resistance between brown and blue... Horn is yellow to brown... Based on those you should have little to no trouble buzzing the circuits out and ensuring it all works... I can't for the life of me see why the horn wire has an extra tail... Cheers, Tim
