I don't remember exactly what they are - they were leftover from a project a long time ago - they're size 1206, which is a tad smaller than the ones I removed from the clock, but that makes it easier to install anyway without SMD soldering gear and they fit the pads nicely.

Something similar to this - https://www.ebay.com/itm/100pcs-1206-SM ... a7-6SguLNg

Yeah, you could use the 1210 I'm sure, in fact that's probably what was used from factory - I just happened to have 1206 laying around and they worked well

Well best of luck to ya - I'm sure if you follow my instructions you'll be fine.

BTW when I had the centre console out to change the shifter surround, I ran a length of twin-core cable underneath in preparation for the lighting  so now I just need to wait till I can get hold of a lens and globe holder and I can tick that one off the list as well.

I did consider that, as there is an EB parts wagon down the back.... Turns out it doesn't have that mod though, so it's looking like a trip to the wreckers once we're allowed to actually go anywhere

Yeah, well if I had enough space I would have more parts cars  as it is I don't have the room - once I get rid of the EB and the EF then I will just have 1 - 2 cars too many for the space I have

 Well you shouldn't have any issues getting parts during lockdown - having your own wreckers yard right there.... I'd be happy with just a BF Fairmont to harvest during my isolation. Could get me all the globe holders, the lens, bootlid carpet, headlining, washer cap...

globe holders are same as the earlier models, lens is same EA/EB/ED Fairmont or BA/BF Fairmont. washer cap is any BA/BF. for the sedan you can use what you have re roof & do what i did, cut holes for extra lights

currently thinking of doing what TimmyA did with his ED & use ol yella as parts for the EB gli wagooon

Yes, I am aware of all that, was just saying if I had that particular model as a parts car it would kill all the birds with one stone
