hi guys I have an EL GLi wagon and 3 times in the past year the brake light switch has shart itself. but not stuffed completely it makes the brake lights stay on the whole time the ignition is on.

Any ideas on what could be causing it to bugger out so often?

there a s**t design. are you using a genuine switch or a $12 autobahn special

i've seen cheap replacement ones, but i've also seen heavy duty replacement ones at supersheep the other week, they were pretty hardcore im guna try one next time i need one.
