My car has an issue where the door locks have a fit. What I say is, they unlock and lock straight away. If I open it with the key they just keep locking, unlocking, locking, unlocking, until I shut the door. I'm guessing it's something jamming up or something. Has anyone had such a problem and how did they completely fix it?

close enough me old EA III did this opened and shut all the doors and never did it again.

I've had both an EF and an EL do this to me, and in both instances it was the door lock rod/button jamming on the door trim - either fix the jammed rod, or just remove it to temporarily fix the problem.

The door trims are actually off. So do you think it's the door lock rods jamming? I'll have a look tomorrow.

i had the same problem a few weeks ago. the plastic rod latch was snaped and caused the locks to folt and do exactly as your sudjecting.
it could be either the driver of passenger front doors. you can get new rod latchs from ford for about $4 each.

have seen this a few times too. make sure your locks are not damaged I had a broken one recently and had to replace it.
