That looks awesome.

Are you sure you still want to go with black? I reckon it'd look better with a grey similar to the suede colour, even on the doors the black armrests are a bit out of place, I think.

How badly does the camera flash exaggerate the 'dirtiness' (i.e. the "you can write your name in it!" factor) of the suede?

'cause I'm jealous of it. :|

the flash is exaggerating everything.
the door trims themselves are darker then the picture makes out because they're covered in velour.

i'll try get some day time pics today without the flash, might show it closer to how it actually looks

I've done it all myself, materials will prolly end up being around $80

i'll put together a list of what i've purchased later.

the velour that was on the door trim? or the carpet that was on the map pocket?

Basically:

Pulled door trim 100% apart (making it hard to put it back together)

Trimmed top section in suede
reattached woodgrain as best i could considered broken tabs
door handle was painted with VHT satin black
padded arm rest was trimmed with low pill fleece
velour on door trim itself was painted with VHT satin black
carpet was removed from map pocket (which is a pain)
suede put in its place.
map pocket itself painted with matt black spray paint

everything reassembled and reinstalled :P

feels very similar, its a dye.

the VHT Vinyl and Carpet dye.

its mostly a matter of putting all the screws/clips back on with reassembling it, a bit of glue maybe if u broke woodgrain tabs or need to reattach the map pockets.
