gettin sick of seeing the body colour from the inside of the car :x is there plastic covers that go over the inside corner behind the door mirror? take a look up the page at the pics to get what i mean. also someone told me i should get the EF/EL electric mirrors, would they fit?

oh and i realised that only the driver side mirror is electric, so how hard would it be to wire an electric mirror to te passenger side?

lotta ?? i know lol sorry guys.

yeah there is a little plastic triangle piece that will cover up where the metal is. also there is a plug that will cover that circle hole in the trim.

may i ask what model you got those door trims from? i have done the conversion myself except that all the holes lined up perfectly with the door. i think i got mine from an EF but im not too sure.

hi
i recently fitted nl fairlane door trims into my ea aswel as ef kick panels.
the trims fit with no probs as said before you just need to drill a few hols for the handle ect.

looks like another popular mod..
i just want to change the lower half of the dash to the ed light grey and it will look better

would the seats from the NF/NL fairlane also fit an EA-ED sedan? I assume the fronts will need new mounts but has anyone done the rear seats?

Yes fordebgt93 has full leather set of EF/El seats in his eb, he said he had to take the leg of the rear of each of the front seats and weld them to the new ones for them to fit, he also had to weld a small plate on the inside front of the front seats rail and re drill the hole so they can be bolted in.

The rear bolted in easy even the bolsters, now im not sure if the NF/NL bolsters and the same as EF/EL ones but if they are they will fit plug and play.

Thanks to Benj for coming over this morning and shwoing me how easy it is to line the door trims up and drilling the holes thats was the easy part.

i am in the middle of doing a doco of it with lots of photos and typos lol, i hope to have it done tonight or some time tomorrow.
