Mate, a an intercooler cools the boosted air that can be heated to in excess of 150°, to a much lower level, meaning less chance of detonation (pinging) and more power due to cooler air containing more oxygen

You know there illegal right? cops consider them to be in the "head clash" area.

I had a tacho there once (on the A pillar) got pulled over for a rbt. Of course being a modded car they went over it and gave me a warning for the tacho placement. They told me it had to be below the top of the dash area.

My reply was "mate if your head ends up that far over the steering wheel and the dash i think you'll have more problems than a tacho". Needless to say i ended up with a white peice of paper saying fix it .

So i moved it to the middle of the dash. don't think my head will end up there!
Now i got three up there

Some period ago I got pictures from A-pillar gauge pod from the shop, photos of pillar and went to Police station to talk about legal side of this mod. After cop consultations at rear room I was told that they cannot say definitely it is legal or not and recommend to call their specialised unit.
